Great sound and great beer share a simple truth—it’s all about quality and balance. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Audio Gold, North London’s legendary Hi-Fi and vinyl store, to create the Audio Golden Ale, a beer as smooth and refined as a perfectly tuned sound system.
The Inspiration Behind Audio Golden Ale
Audio Gold is a treasure trove for music lovers—a place packed from floor to ceiling with new and vintage hi-fi, vinyl, and audio equipment. A true institution, they’ve been serving London’s music scene for over 30 years, supplying sound systems to some of the UK’s best listening bars, venues, and restaurants—including our very own Orbit Beers taproom.
To honour their commitment to high-fidelity sound, we’ve crafted a beer that mirrors that balance, depth, and clarity—a beautifully composed Golden Ale that hits all the right notes.
Tasting Notes
Fittingly brewed with a blend of First Gold and Brewers Gold hops, providing aromas of marmalade, delicate spice, and blackcurrant, all balanced by a refreshing bitterness. The malt backbone, built on Golden Promise, Caramel Pils, and Oat Malt, offers a smooth, light body with a gentle caramel sweetness and a creamy mouthfeel. At 4.5% ABV, this golden-hued pour is an easy-drinker that doesn’t compromise on character.
Where to Find the Audio Golden Ale
Audio Golden Ale will be released on Thursday 20th March, and will be available in bottles at the Orbit Beers taproom, on the web shop, and in select bars and restaurants. The cask will be released on record store day 2025 - 12th April.
To celebrate, we’re hosting a cask launch event at the Orbit Beers taproom on 12th April, featuring a curated selection of records from Audio Gold’s legendary collection with Audio Gold and Orbit Beers DJs plus special guests.
