Wednesday 2nd September - Live Music Open Mic

Acoustic Open Mic Night takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. Free to attend and perform.

Friday 4th September - Jackstar* & T-Riddem

📍 Orbit Beers Taproom

Joining us for a Dubbel Dekker night Jackstar & T-Riddem will be playing Reggae, Dub, Baselines & more, 8 'til late.



Saturday 5th September - Inverted Audio Record Store Takeover

📍 Orbit Beers Taproom

Inverted Audio founder DJ Antepop and a crew of loyal customers will be behind the decks, playing ambient, deep house and dub techno. Expect a slow-building, all-vinyl set built for the taproom rather than the dancefloor. Heads-down ambient textures easing into deep house warmth, with dub techno's low-end space woven through. No rush, no big drops, just a solid selection of essential wax.

 When: Saturday 5th September, 20:00 – 23:30

Friday 11th September - Bring Your Own Vinyl

📍 Orbit Beers Taproom

Every second Friday of the month, our resident DJ will be spinning records all evening long.

Bring your vinyl along, say hello, jump on the decks, and play 20 minutes of your favourite tracks in exchange for a free pint.

Saturday 12th August - Migz DJ Set

DJ Migz' Mixed Bag Of Grooves.

Migz is considered to be a multi-musical spinner, presenting three different radio shows a fortnight, each of different genres, mostly on vinyl.  

Here at Orbit, he'll be presenting a mixed bag of grooves, spinning a selection of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Boogie, Disco, Electro, Hip Hop, Freestyle and house. It'll all be in the bag, and there'll be something for everyone.



Thursday 17th September - Spoken Word Night

The third Thursday of every month is Poetry & Spoken Word Open Mic Night.

Come along to share lyrics, poetry, and thoughts — with or without music — in a relaxed, inclusive, and supportive space.

Friday 18th September - Señor Peludo DJ Set

📍 Orbit Beers Taproom

Señor Peludo is a south-London-based genre-hopping DJ and producer who has been filling dancefloors around the world for two decades, with sets at venues including Burning Man and Boomtown Festival. Currently focused on mashing up funk and hip hop, he hosts a monthly show in this style on Brixton Radio. Expect genre-hopping eclectic grooves, plus fusion funk and hip hop galore.  



Saturday 19th September - Nuno DJ Set

Fielding Street's very own Nuno is here once again to bring us some lovely tunes from the streets of Lisbon/his vast record collection!



Wednesday 23rd September - New Cask Launch - Extra Special Bitter!

📍 Orbit Beers Taproom

We're launching a seasonal Cask ESB on Wednesday 23rd September in time for Cask Ale Week. We've teamed up with roasted malt specialists French & Jupps to produce a classic E.S.B at 4.8%. Dating back to 1810, French & Jupps are Britain’s oldest maltings, renowned for their handcrafted specialty malts, and provided us with Caramel Malt and Chocolate Malt for this recipe alongside some Maris Otter. 

Rich amber-copper in colour, this beer showcases layers of traditional crystal malt character, with aromas of digestive biscuits, toffee, and light caramel balanced by a touch of chocolate malt for a gentle roasted complexity and depth.

Traditional British hops shine throughout. Brambling Cross brings hedgerow fruit aromas and subtle blackberry notes, East Kent Goldings offers a delicate earthy spice, and First Gold adds a hint of marmalade to follow.

We'll have a beer quiz starting at 6.30pm on Wednesday 23rd, with beer prizes to be won! And you'll get a free pint of the new beer with your locals card on the night if you're based in SE17.

Friday 25th September - Orbit & Friends DJs

📍 Orbit Beers Taproom

A monthly night hosted by the Orbit team and friends, usually taking place every third Friday of the month. However, this one is a week later!

Expect a selection of our favourite genres, great tunes, and great beers.



Saturday 26th September - Harvest Festival!

📍 Orbit Beers Taproom

For the second year running, we're hosting a Harvest Festival at the taproom on Saturday 26.th September. We'll be launching the new seasonal Festbier as well, and you'll get a free pint of the new beer with your locals card on the day.
 

We'll spend the day celebrating with festival lagers, the new Orbit Festbier, Zotler guest Festbier, and Allgauer guest Festbier all on tap. Dragon Flame BBQ are also cooking a selection of sausages on the day.

We'll have a conkers tournament on the go, and later on we'll be joined for a DJ Set from Unemployable Welsh Scum.

We're collecting donations for Southwark local food bank, so if you have any of the following items to bring along on the day and donate we would be very grateful:

Jam, Pasta Sauce, Tinned Vegetarian Meals, Biscuits, Tinned Vegetables, Tinned Soup.

Sundays — Pub Quiz from 6:00pm

Join us every Sunday for our weekly pub quiz, with the chance to win a £50 bar tab. We're back at 6pm, so make sure to get here a bit earlier now.

Dragon Flame BBQ will also be serving their legendary roast dinners from 1pm.
