Migz has been DJing since 1984, with a regular show on Black Culture Radio, and performing mostly on vinyl, he'll be spinning a combination of old school house (80s, 90s & noughties), New York, New Jersey, Chicago and Detroit styles, and early 90s drum & bass.
Wednesday 8th April - DJs and Darts
Earl of Derby, SE14
Nico Lager is now pouring at the Earl of Derby in New Cross. We'll be launching the beer with a beat-the-brewer darts tournament with beers to be won! We'll also have Handmade DJs on to soundtrack the night, and Gengelly's 2 for £20 pie deal.
Thursday 9th April - New April Sours Launch!

On Thursday 9th April, we're launching our new April Sours. This year will be Dill Pickle Sour, and a Blood Orange & Lemon Thyme Sour.
With blood orange being in season, and fresh lemon thyme adding a subtle herbal citrus finish, we can't wait for this one as we head into Spring. We've been pickling organic cucumbers in-house with dill, vine leaves, and long pepper. These are then juiced and added to the sour fermentation along with fresh dill sprigs and pickle brine.
Bottles will be available to buy in the taproom and on the webshop.
If you have one of our locals cards you'll get a pint of the new beer on the house that evening, or a half of each so you can try them both!
We'll have dishes to pair with the new beers from Dragon Flame BBQ, and cocktail specials, plus all things pickled!
Friday 10th April - Bring Your Own Vinyl

2nd Friday of every month, our resident DJ will be playing records all night long. Bring your vinyl along, say hello, and get on the decks and play 20 minutes of your favourite tracks for a free pint!

The third Thursday of every month is Poetry Open Mic Night. Come along to share lyrics, poetry, and thoughts, with or without music in an inclusive, relaxed, and supportive space.

A monthly night hosted by the Orbit team. They'll be on the decks with some pals every 3rd Friday of the month, playing a selection of their favourite genres whilst drinking the good beers that they make!
Saturday 18th April - Spring Festival! Plus 150

Join us for the annual Orbit Beers Spring Festival at the taproom. We'll have the new sours on tap, Dragon Flame BBQ specials and platters, spring fete party games and prizes to be won. The mini dog show will be at 4pm (special treats for your best tricks!), and we'll have the brewery open for tours from 2pm-4pm. All FREE to attend!
Plus 150 Heads will be in for another night of abstract party sounds from 8pm.

Thursday 30th April - 4AD Collaboration Beer Launch

As some of your may know, 4AD is one of our favourite independent record labels. Our Pale Ale IVO is named after Ivo Watts-Russell, the Founder of 4AD records.
We've got together with 4AD to brew a collaboration beer as part of their 'Enclosed in Amber' pop-up this April. We've brewed a Vienna Lager together, which we'll launch at the taproom on Thursday 30th April with a night of 4AD vinyl.
Named Enclosed In Amber, the 4AD pop-up store will be open from Wednesday 22nd April to Sunday 26th April in Market Row, Brixton. The residency mirrors the dates 4AD acts Dry Cleaning and Big Thief will grace the stage of the neighbourhood’s most iconic venue, the O2 Academy Brixton.
Enclosed In Amber will offer fans the opportunity to purchase exclusive limited-edition 4AD merchandise and signed records as well as browse through the label’s 40-year catalogue (complete with personal recommendations from current staff). The commemorative beer that we created together will also be available every day.

Sundays - Pub Quiz from 6pm

Every Sunday at the taproom you can take part in our Pub Quiz from 6pm for the chance to win a £50 bar tab, so be sure to get a table booked in!
We also have Dragon Flame BBQ's legendary roast dinners on from 1pm.
