What's on in September

 

Whether you're popping into the taproom or out and about around London, here is an update of what we've got going on in September.

 

Thursday 1st - Live Music

 Orbit Beers Taproom

CRÆTIONS are back, performing live in the taproom on the first Thursday of September (5th). The Jazz trio is formed from some of the members of @pyjaenmusic and they'll be starting at 8pm. Free to attend, we just advise booking a table.

  

Friday 13th - Bring Your Own Vinyl

 Orbit Beers Taproom

2nd Friday of every month, our resident DJ will be playing records all night long. Bring your vinyl along, say hello, and get on the decks and play 20 minutes of your favourite tracks for a free pint!

Thursday 19th - Spoken Word

 Orbit Beers Taproom

The third Thursday of every month is Poetry Open Mic Night. Come along to share lyrics, poetry, and thoughts, with or without music in an inclusive, relaxed, and supportive space. 

Pop in and chat with Abby beforehand if you're keen to know more, or just come along on the night and find out.

Friday 20th - 150Heads DJ Set

+ Dunkelweizen Launch

 Orbit Beers Taproom

South London collective 150heads take over the controls at Orbit Brewery for a night of abstract party sounds. Expect a seamlessly incoherent blend of dubbed-out rockers, post-punk oddities, and fallen funk. Join us on 20th September as we embark on an evening of chaotic charm and occasional transcendence.


We're also launching our Oktoberfest special, a Dunkelweizen brewed in collaboration with Tap Social movement.



Friday 27th - Ruined Fever DJ Set

Ruined Fever presents an all-vinyl DJ set bringing an eclectic mix of beat, breaks, indie sleaze, 90's,  hip hop and everything in between.


Wednesdays - Beer & Burger £12

 Orbit Beers Taproom

We're doing 15% off for students on Wednesdays, just present your student card to the bar staff (available on beers, wine, soft drinks and house spirits). If you're not a student, you can also get a beer and a burger on Wednesdays and Thursdays for just £12.

 
   

Sundays - Pub Quiz from 6pm

 Orbit Beers Taproom

Every Sunday at the taproom you can take part in our Pub Quiz from 6pm for the chance to win a £60
bar tab, so be sure to get a table booked in!
