Whether you're popping into the taproom or out and about around London, here is an update on what we've got going on in November.
Wednesday 1st - Student Request Line
Orbit Beers Taproom
We've partnered with LCC to host a student request line every other Wednesday at Orbit Taproom. We'll have a Spotify playlist you can add your favourite songs to and a Nico + a Naco for only £8.
We're also doing 15% off for students on Wednesdays, just present your student card to the bar staff (available on beers, wine, soft drinks and house spirits).
Wednesday 8th - Jolly Saint Nico Launch
The Dog & Bell
It's that time of the year again, Jolly Saint Nico is on it's way! As Deptford's Dog & Bell gets into the festive spirit our kegs of Jolly Saint Nico will be coming down their chimney and onto the taps for all to enjoy.
As one of London's legendary festive pubs, we couldn't think of a better place to launch the city's favourite festive lager this Christmas. Join us on Wednesday 8th November, and if you can't make it along, don't worry, it will be on until Christmas!

Get down to the taproom on Thursday 16th November for the next Poetry Open Mic Night. Share lyrics, poetry, and thoughts, with or without music in an inclusive, relaxed, and supportive space.

Friday 17th - Jolly Saint Nico Launch

We'll be launching Jolly Saint Nico at the taproom on Friday 17th November. With Jamie on the decks and the Christmas decorations up, we'll be bringing the festive cheer to Walworth.
Tasting Notes:
A special, annual Christmas edition of our gluten-free Köln Lager - Nico.
Pours pale golden. Light on the palate with bready maltiness, a fragrant herbal hop aroma and a touch of lemon citrus. This festive edition includes warming winter spices from the nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice.
A Kölsch for Christmas, and Christmas only!
Sunday 20th - Cue Point Festive Roasts

The Cue Point Sunday roasts will have a festive flavour in the run-up to Christmas! Expect cows in rugs, maple carrots, and brisket & turkey mains. Book in advance to avoid missing out on your favourite dishes. Find out more about the full festive menu below:

Friday 24th - Nico Night! A Cologne Drinking Experience in London

As the darker nights draw in, we're ready to welcome back our famous Nico Night.
Round up your mates, book a table, and join us for a night of Nico Kölsch stanges, food from Cue Point LDN, and Nico served from the wood for a traditional Cologne-inspired night out.
If you've ever been to Cologne, you'll have noticed that their drinking culture is wildly different to ours, instead of going up to the bar to order, the smartly dressed and no-nonsense waiters (called Köbes) will bring over circular beer trays (called Kranz) laden with tall thin glasses (called stanges), containing 200ml of freshly poured Kölsch.
When the beers have been served, the Köbe will mark your beer mat to keep track of how many you've had. When your beer is nearly empty the Köbe will bring another stange, and another, until you place a beer mat on top of your glass, signalling you've had your fill.

Thursday 30th - Orbit Christmas Party

Join us for the annual Orbit Christmas Party on Thursday 30th November. A chance to pick up some gifts for your loved ones and enjoy a Jolly Saint Nico alongside a mince pie from our pals at Toad Bakery! We're delighted to welcome 'Cask Brass' to the taproom for the evening as well, a 5 piece brass band playing Christmas classics and a few non-festive favourites as well.
