Thursday 1st January

George from Dragon Flame BBQ is looking after us all after our big night on New Year's Eve! He's doing a special roast dinner service on a Thursday 1st Jan, because we all know we're not going to be up for cooking it ourselves! Abby is also going to be making Bloody Mary's so any sore heads will hopefully be a distant memory.

Friday 3rd January - DJ Mayo Set

Mayo is the maestro of smooth, velvety grooves that spread across the dancefloor like a dream. Playing dub reggae, soulful hip-hop, deep funk cuts, sweet soul, and some disco classics, Mayo spreads the vibes thick, turning any scene into a dancefloor delight.
Wednesday 7th January - Live Music Open Mic Night

Acoustic Open Mic Night is now the first WEDNESDAY of every month. Free to attend and perform. Chat with Abby or the team behind the bar for more details on how it works, or pop along next time to find out!

Friday 9th January - Bring Your Own Vinyl
Orbit Beers Taproom
2nd Friday of every month, our resident DJ will be playing records all night long. Bring your vinyl along, say hello, and get on the decks and play 20 minutes of your favourite tracks for a free pint!

Thursday 15th January - Spoken Word Night

The third Thursday of every month is Poetry Open Mic Night. Come along to share lyrics, poetry, and thoughts, with or without music in an inclusive, relaxed, and supportive space.
Pop in and chat with Abby beforehand if you're keen to know more, or just come along on the night and find out.

Friday 16th January - Orbit and Friends DJs

A monthly night hosted by the Orbit team. They'll be on the decks with some pals every 3rd Friday of the month, playing a selection of their favourite genres whilst drinking the good beers that they make!
Saturday 17th January - DJs: Chris Mcknight & Harry
Orbit Beers Taproom
Chris McKnight and Harry will be bringing classic Soul, Funk, Motown, Reggae, Disco and more, to the Taproom. Starts at 8pm. Bring your dancing shoes!
Thursday 22nd January: N64 Tournament

A night of nostalgia and prizes! We're hosting an N64 Tournament, mainly playing Mario Kart and Golden Eye, but we've got loads of games, so if you've got any secret talents then we can add them to the mix. Heats will start from 6pm. Top of the leaderboard will win a £50 drinks tab!
Friday 23rd January - DJs: Unemployable Welsh Scum

Unemployable Welsh Scum are twin brother DJ duo Paul "Tidy" and Stewart "Stönk" Summers. The pair have DJ'd together for over two decades, playing vinyl in places as far-flung as Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Krankenhaus Festival in Cumbria. Expect everything from AC/DC to X Ray Spex, Punk rock Chestnuts and Indie Bangers, with some Ska, Reggae, and Motown all thrown into the mix.
Friday 24th January - Nuno DJ Set

Fielding Street's very own Nuno is here again to bring us some lovely tunes from the streets of Lisbon. Expect some house & light techno.
Sundays - Pub Quiz from 6pm

Every Sunday at the taproom you can take part in our Pub Quiz from 6pm for the chance to win a £50 bar tab, so be sure to get a table booked in!
We also have Dragon Flame BBQ's legendary roast dinners on from 1pm.
