What's on in April

Whether you're popping into the taproom or out and about around London, here is an update on what we've got going on in April. 

 

Wednesday 5th April - Orbit Tap Takeover

Old Packhorse - Chiswick

 The Old Pack Horse pub in Chiswick sees grade-II listed heritage meet with cool contemporary style. There’s tasty Thai food on the menu and we'll be taking over the taps with our core range and seasonal specials on Weds 5th April, so come along and see us if you're based in West London.

Friday 7th April - Good Friday - Open from Midday

We're all hoping for some lovely sunny weather for the Easter Weekend, but either way, we'll be serving from midday for a drink in the taproom or on the beer terrace. DJs on from 7pm.

  

Friday 14th April - Bring Your Own Vinyl

Our resident DJ will be in playing records all night long. Bring your vinyl along, get on the decks and play 20 minutes of your favourite tracks for a free pint!

2nd Friday of every month.

  

Thursday 20th April - Spoken Word/Poetry Night

 Get down to the taproom on Thursday 20th April for our first Poetry Open Mic Night. Share lyrics, poetry, and thoughts, with or without music in an inclusive, relaxed, and supportive space. Pop in and chat with Felix beforehand if you're keen to know more, or just come along on the night and find out.

 

Friday 21st and 22nd April - Jazu Takeover

Our friends from Camberwell's much loved (and much missed!) Jazu bar are joining us at the taproom again on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd April. We'll have Scott serving up signature cocktails on the bar and Jimmy on the decks with some Jazu favourites. We're open until 1am, so get yourselves down here for a night to remember.

 

Saturday 22nd April - Record Store Day

Peckham Soul

  

  

This Record Store Day we're getting together with our friends over at Peckham Soul to give away a free beer to their first 50 customers (age permitting) so make sure to get in the queue.

 

Peckham Soul’s RSD Leviathan rolls into view again as the hottest day for vinyl heads fast approaches. As usual Peckham Soul will be stocking the best RSD has to offer.

They’ll have live music from the hot-tipped, and quite frankly, outrageously good Hot Face. Speedy Wunderground’s newest signing, this is an outfit destined for infamy, if not stupendous fame. Their friends at Wolf Music, home of the hypnotic 12″ and other sonic wonders, along with other guests will be taking care of twin deck duties.

Saturday 29th April - Live Jazz

To celebrate all things Jazz on International Jazz Day 2023, we'll have live music on at the taproom from 7pm.

Cue Point Brunch

Our residence chefs Cue Point LDN are starting up Saturday brunch 12-3pm. Incorporating their delicious smoked briskets along with lighter sweet treats, it's a great way to start your weekend alongside a Nico or Bloody Mary.

Pub Quiz & Cue Point Sunday Roasts

Every Sunday at the taproom you can take part in our Pub Quiz from 6pm for the chance to win a £60 bar tab, so be sure to get a table booked in!
